So the Quarry is 55meters deep, and noticed you were casting out deep into the quarry. How far did you let it sink or the tried to keep it near the surface? Cheers.

Planning on heading out tomorrow afternoon and will be targeting squid but will target fish if there is some around.

Carrum fishing report
Went out in the boat today leaving from carrum and managed 16 flathead in an hour an a half.
Most of them were undersized but did come across three 35cm flatties however did return them to the water. :thumbsup:

Does anyone know some spots around PPB or WP for collecting bass yabbies/nippers?

Went to flinders today for about 3 hours with a float rig for squid. Was very disappointed to see NOT ONE out of the 86 rods I counted on the pier caught a squid or had been touched.
