Re: Lake dartmouth trout.

1-3kg or 2-4kg outfits are fine mate. Winged lures such as tassies, stingers, cobras, work far too well to dismiss. Bibbed minnows are also good to have in the spread. Rapalas such as F7-F13, or XR6-XR10. Or daiwa double-clutch. And a troll speed of 3-3.5km/hr should do the trick. Good luck! Cheers...

Lake dartmouth trout.

What size rod would be best to use for trolling I was thinking of using a 1-3kg rod is that way to light ? And also what other lur...

Re: Quick Lang Lang trip.

It all depends on the area, off the lang lang wall I use a running sinker of around 4oz, with about 1m of 40 to 60lb leader to a single circle hook. Off the back beaches it depends on conditions with what size sinker you use and also what rig. You can use either a running sinker or paternoster. Che...

Re: Quick Lang Lang trip.

Good work mate what did he take A small piece of squid. Amazing just how shallow gummies will come to feed. You can do a huge cast there and still be in less than a meter of water at high tide. I'd say I was sending a 4oz sinker about 60 to 80m, from the edge of the water, the wall was 10m further ...

I got there about 11.00 am. and fished through till about 3.30 pm. There were just two other blokes there. None of us had a fish at all...

Re: Stream fishing

Have done this quite a number of times. For 4 people fishing - Need 2 cars and a spare set of keys for each. Process - Pick 3 spots on river that are accessible by foot and about a mile+ apart (Distance is up to you) Drop 2 people at first point, downstream, so that they can fish up stream to point...

Stream fishing

Hey guys quick question

Me and 3 mates are heading away this weekend for some trout and are planning to walk in pairs upstream my question is how long do you think is needed for the 2 blokes who follow the first 2 upstream for the trout to come back out and start taking lures again?

Cheers
