I knew the site was having big problems with hackers from overseas that were playing hell with it,my gut feeling is the the owner (Chris) had a gut full of t...

Re: Reel replacement advice.
Thanks again everyone for the tips.
I had a look at the new nasci in the local fishing store and it felt great. Little bit more saving to do and I’ll go with that I reckon .
Cheers.

Reel replacement advice.
Gday, For many years my go to all-rounder for salt water fishing has been a Shimano Symetre 2500. I am not a gear obsessed fisho. I just like reliable stuff that works well. Re: First trout of the 2021/22 season..
Fantastic to hear you are back in the rivers, i look forward to following you for another season. Just in regards to that new setup, is that your 4lb mainline tied straight to the swivel? As in no leader? And if you wouldn’t mind could you link to the swivel in question? I’ve always had the best luc...

Re: Flattie Help Please!
Try upsizing the hooks. You'll miss all the small ones and it might get frustrating at times, but you will get the bigger ones if they are around. I did well on 4/0's. Also try really shallow, and also on the run out tide. Last time I was in Tassie I got some big ones off the beach in an estuary. T...
