Re: Flinders mix catch

Well that was my first time out there so im not how good it really is, but from some blokes there said they only use prawns from coles and go well. I was also fishing the sandy patches. Be prepared to lose lots of rigs and struggle to free your anchor :o_0: Yeah, I'll probably go a bit deeper then ...

Re: Flinders mix catch

Nice catch mate, I was after some Whiting myself on the weekend out of Hastings but all I got was a Bluethroat :(

I will have to check Flinders out as it's probably the closest offshore launch I have and I always hear consistent reports.

Re: Not so new, new guy

Should be a nice day on the water what are you targeting? Trying for some whiting but who know's what else will have a chomp. Taking some pillies, Pippies and a bit o' squid. 1/0 to 3/0 hooks. We'll be fishing the incoming tide. Figured I'd start North of Lysaghts and make my way down thru 3 or 4 m...

Welcome aboard captain, I also like long walks by the beach, puppies and sunsets although I like sunrises much more especially when I'm on the ocean. Now that's funny .. .yeah, it does always tend to be sunrise hey. Heading over to Hastings tomorrow, wife in tow and maybe the lad. The tides don't f...
