So took my father in-law out yesterday for his first fish in Oz, first time in boat . First time to use and rod and reel for that matter. Headed to Clifton springs - channel and onto a few reds. Not overly big but happy with out come .

Push and hold the volume control button down for 5 seconds , see if that helps, might be just going into idle/sleep mode.

Uncle has that blue roller , spring loaded thing, when the spring broke, damage the underside of the boat.
