Hey purp own a few saragosas and have used the BG. Both very nice reels but the BG 5000 I would say is the closest size to the saragosa 10000. I prefer the saragosa just because Ive used it more often and feels better i the hand although it doesnt feel as smooth as a BG (only very slightly), its a b...

Haha yeah the 14t is a killer. stock up on them as they are now discontinued. Used the emeraldas combo once and was a beautifully made rod but I couldnt justify the price on them

Egi rods technically are a waste of money as you can use just about any rod to catch squid but for me personally I like the feel of it. For my squid setup I run a Majorcraft Solpara with a ci4+ stradic and it just feels real nice landing squid on it. Also you are able to constantly work the jigs all...
