The best thing you can do for your bait is buy a proper ice box (not a cheap esky) and store the bait in there. It should stay pretty frozen (add a frozen bottle of water in there if needed) the whole time you are out. Just break of and defrost bait as you need it. Something like this : https://www....

Anaconda had these on clearance for $5 each. Ended up getting about 6 of them all up!

Only just starting to get in to lures so figure they will be good ones to lose!

I think keep it simple and we will get more members having a crack. As soon as you start adding in multiple species it can become a bit of a stretch for some of the members who might only be able to get out once over a few weeks. I troll surface lures for salmon couta and pike down the south end of westernport with reasonable success. I always have 2 rods rigged with lures just in case. Always alot of bird activity down there. Also troll around the rocky shores of phillip island and get plenty of pike. Kids love seeing the ...
