I have the backpack in your original link - got it from BCF for $49 when on special. It is a great backpack and I now use it instead of tackle boxes. It goes on the boat, to the pier etc.

I’ve got a pfleuger Trion rod which is pretty ace. It’s one piece but they make them in travel versions as well. I read a lot of good reports on them when I was researching. Might be worth checking out.

The last thing I would want to put on my boat are cheap seats. It's about the only thing on a boat that offers comfort (other than a cabin). Your ass and back will regret those cheap seats every time you get in the boat. What's your idea of a cheap seat? Plastic ones that are like MCG seats lol Exa...

It's about the only thing on a boat that offers comfort (other than a cabin). Your ass and back will regret those cheap seats every time you get in the boat.

Most fish mongers will sell them live. Even the ones in the fresh food sections of shopping centres sometimes have them.... along with pillies, mussels etc

I wouldn't use it for any type of lure fishing.

They are designed for bait fishing and sensitive nibble detection.....
