Saturday 25/3/17 - Who's out?

Heading out tomorrow from hastings in the AM to look for some whiting. Interested in seeing who else is heading out and what you are chasing on what should hopefully be a nice day on the water!

Re: Charter Info/Ideas for Up North

Are you set on up north? My old man has a mate who lives over near exmouth in WA and reckons the fishing there is pretty amazing. Boat hire for the day is anywhere from 300-500 depending on the boat.

Re: CA Ringwood .. TLD25 combo for $199

Got the newsletter in the mail today. Sounds like a good price for TLD25 spooled with mono + 15kg overhead rod for $199 23/03 - 25/03 Not a bad price. I have seen something similar for $150 without line, so it would come close after adding line I guess. I snapped mine up for $100 the other week. An...

Re: Should there be Boat Catch limits?

Anything around that 28cm mark is pretty much a hassle to fillet for little return anyway. At the end of the day, decreasing bag limit's and...

Re: Spooling TLD25's

Cheers gents, based on your suggestions I think I'll just spool it up with the 15kg mono that I have sitting there. Will be first time using overheads so probably a good line to learn on!

Now to find something to catch with it .....
