Re: Warmies Trash

The Warmies was one of two places I visited when I first thought about getting back into fishing. My disgust of both places was enough for me to buy a kayak and avoid this type of landbased fishing.

Re: What's your favourite Snapper Hardbody?

I typically troll a HB from my kayak when I'm out of Altona or Williamstown up to 6m. I've had most success on the Berkley Frenzy minnow with purple. Not managed a big red on one yet so don't know whether their construction will hold up to the chopping power - plenty of 40-50cm. Also had some succes...

Re: For sale: Stealth Fisha 500

If I can find a better kayak that addresses my needs then I may change.

Great looking kayak, bet it can go fast.
What kayak are you planning on getting?
Either a pro fisha or one that hasn’t been released yet but looks sick
If you choose a Profisha, I may have my Profisha 525 coming up for sale ;-)
Does it have a live well and a sail?
No and......no

Re: Portland, Vic: North Shore Challenge 2019

Thanks Dazz. Part of the reason I bought the waterwolf for education. I used it recently on my lazy squid rod. When I got home to watch the footage, I had a couple of squid follows, but also had a couple of whiting inspecting. I decided to go back on sunday past, and managed to pick up a couple of K...

Re: YouTube channels

Typically freshwater/estuary stuff (Kayak and landbased) I follow Hawksey Fishing. If you want WPB, Jordo 360 creates some innovative 360 videos in his kayak who I follow. I've literally just started my own channel to help increase the content. This will mainly be PPB and WP, but while the seasons p...

Pulled a video together of the action from a couple of weeks ago. Top water and underwater shots included.

Re: Portland, Vic: North Shore Challenge 2019

So where do you put caught fish in the kayak? in the fish box - theres about enough room to fit a kingy of at least 5 foot on a purpose built fishing ski - not the Anaconda pool toys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ag99cCRTVj0 watch from about the 8 min mark - these guys pulled a 125 cm fish ( 15 k...
