only just saw this now,
the 60 Mercury EFI doesnt really support the speedo and its extra uses. Really you only need the tacho for those motors anyway. All the good information is in the tacho

Re: Lowrance Hook Reveal

If you plan on using sidescan, look for a 9inch model. Bigger screen makes it easier to see and define what you are looking at. The main differences are the Ti and above units are (mostly) touch screen and run better software (from what ive seen) The Hook units are mainly buttons and they feel cheap...

Re: Bream with messed up scales

havent watched this vide yet, but im constantly amazed at how you manage to get fish out of spots in Patto. I dont like loosing $25 worth of lure at a time, so im a bit more conservative...probably why i only have a few out of patto. Got a 40cm from there, so im happy lol

Re: Boat rewire in Geelong?

Be somewhere around $500-$1000 depending on how much you have to do, what needs to be replaced, parts etc. Price would also depend on how good you want it to look. Keep in mind to t...

Re: Increased RPM during engine flush (spontaneously)

It will just be the back pressure "issue", which isnt really an issue.
If on the water its fine, nothing to worry about. If you are worried, ring a dealer close to you

Re: Increased RPM during engine flush (spontaneously)

Basically at idle, the top 2 carbies are running, once it gets above a certain revs (around 1200rpm) the 3rd and 4th carbie kick in. When the motor is on flushers, ther...

Re: Boat

Good luck on the sale of your boat I had that same message 9 years ago when i was selling my boat. Common thing on Boatsales. For some reason as soon as an ad goes up, you get 1 or 2 of these, then not again. I only deal with phone numbers and text messages. If you want the boat, you contact me that...
