Re: Braid fraying just before leader knot

try an "FG knot"

I used to have the same problems using the albright/alberto knot. The issue is the knot doesnt tie off as well as the FG does.

This video is the version i use
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjzUb5QRKuk

Found it much easier to tie than other versions of the knot

Re: WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL THING YOU HAVE REELED IN ON A LURE?

Not quite caught with rod and reel
but
did manage to drag up a battery that i had hooked with the point of my anchor one day. Even have photos to prove it, however when i tried to lift it in the boat, the battery fell off.

Im quite familiar with a car engine and how service on them works, from what I understand the 4 strokes are basically small car engines. (size depending ofcourse) Since...

Re: Battery help wanted

Dont buy the small motorbike/jet ski style of batteries. Not worth the cost. Buy a good battery (calcium style) and a good charger or even a solar panel to keep charge in the battery. Then maintain the battery. There will be a time when you want to add stuff to the boat, so having a bigger battery i...
