Hey I’m by no means a good lb fisho. I did lots in South Africa on other species but have only recently taken it up here. It’s beautiful up there and I’m dead keen to try again. I did not see many fishos on the beaches so my timing might’ve been very wrong

Yeh I went to north Tura beach three times, early morning on the incoming tide, first morning had three small salmon, second day nil, third day a micro and a small salmon. A big trawler boat came very close to the coast and deployed his net, was very surprised it was allowed in NSW. Certainly spoile...

Just got back from that area, didn't do very well unfortunately. A few small salmon on bait and spinning off the beach, went down to the wharfs (Merimbula and Tathra) they were packed and didn't see much happening. Tried a few other spots for donuts. Lovely area but the fishing did not impress me mu...
