If it’s a sinking lure it’s hook up. Floating lure from a boat not that important.
Land based I have em up no matter which lure.
Singles are easier to remove & don’t do as much damage so you can release fish.
Fish caught on trebles & released have a far lower survival rate.

Is there anywhere to watch it? I don't pay for TV channels or any other subscriptions tbh Fox Sports have the rights but 9 Gem is broadcasting all Aussie games as well as 'selected' others. It is not on free to air every night and looks like tomorrow night (Thursday) is the next freebie broadcast.....

Take it to a local independent tackle shop.
Better to let the professionals deal with a rod break :-)

Big snapper here too. Some ripper tips on here guys keep em coming. I fish only salt will try gars this winter then probably light shore slow for flathead salmon mulloway. Mastered whiting gummy & squid I feel. For kings & tuna I need a mate with a boat :-)
