drain any fuel out of it, new plug/s fresh fuel...may (probably will) need carby rebuild...so expect that. Would you bother replacing gearbox oil & brake fluid? I'd change it all. Gearbox oil, Brake fluid, clean air filter, change plug, drain fuel and put new fuel in. If it doesn't run right yo...

As an outboard mechanic...i cant stress this enough... IF YOU WANT A SERVICE FOR THE SNAPPER SEASON...RING YOUR DEALER AND BOOK IT IN NOW! DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE NICE WEATHER OR SEPTEMBER TO ROLL AROUND....GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL BE WAITING FOR A WHILE TO GET IN! We often have a waiting list of 6-8 week...

Ha ha yes the “stereotypes”. I’ve seen them I wonder which one I fit into from the outsiders point of view. I’ll go out anytime the weather is half decent and I have the time. Right now I’m saving for the annual outboard service. Can’t wait for the warranty period to be out and I’ll be saving money...
