Sea Lice

Fished at my spot at Indented Heads the other mornin at 0300 to 0600-A week ago I pulled out heaps of whiting from the same spot--No fish but lost heaps of baits-Squid and Mussles to Monster Sea Lice. Packed up and went to St Leonards spot, more Lice till dawn when they went off and I caught 13 Ting...

There are heaps of them at Indented Heads,St Leonards and on the way to Queenscliff
Best way to avoid them is to fish early in the mornin-When dark

I use No4 Mustad 92608 Hooks SS Long Shank same as the ones for Whiting, works well for me
