Re: Which is correct

Going by 'tackleshop' advice, I was told if the hook was the wrong way around, it would change the action of the lure. Going by this, I'd say the tail hook is the wrong way around....still not convinced this is true to be honest. *Find I have a better hook up rate with trebles I reckon that might b...

Cheers, Anth Anth you're right about the clothes, late Autumn and early Spring have a large range of temps where as winter is just straight cold. Re: Which is correct

I think if you're catching fish like tuna with a lure that size it wouldn't really matter. Well most larger fish for that matter. A lot of the time both hooks are pinned in their mouth anyway. I don't know of any fish that has a harder top jaw than their lower jaw. They are pretty much the same.

Re: Kayak trout fishing

Trolling around would be your best bet. Have a tassie/spinner out one side and a deep diver out the other. Don't be scared to have the lures way out back. Once you get to know the area you're fishing you can start casting at likely snags or areas if you want but trolling is probably the most effecti...

Re: Cheeky Bream on Cranky Crabs

Nice work mate. I've always wanted to try using live crabs on the nong here in melb or the yarra but they are a bit hard to get.. might put in the work one of these days. Anth Thanks Anth Yes, those little crabs are gun bait, that's why those Cranka Crab lures must work so well. They are a little b...
