Re: 23 months jail for abalone syndicate ring leader
lets face it, $18k fine for someone who owns a million dollar home in St Albans is a slap on the wrist, yea good they punished her but i feel its soft for someone who most likely paid off that home using proceeds of crime. I say she should have had a 250k fine and a financial audit to prove the home...

Re: Venus bay Pippi`s
Last i heard there was a license issued for commercial collection of pippies from that area and as most have said every idiot goes there and fills a 20lt bucket. As fishermen and women its up to us to protect our sport, if you do see people taking more than their quota call the number on your fishin...

Re: Selfish shellfish harvesters facing stiff penalties
i hold no respect for those that take more than their quota, chances are they have never seen oysters and the like on rocks and thought they could make some quick cash selling them off

Sand/Beach worms
Just wondering if anyone collects their own sand worms? Do we even get green/pink head worms on vic beaches? Do bait shops sell them and how much do they go for? I would rather try my hand at collecting my own sand worrms as it looks fun and near free bait is always good.
