Re: Distance from Oil Rigs - Gippsland

It's 500m radius. On most fish finder maps, it will actually show you the exclusion zone as a red circle around it. Don't cross over into this no-go zone and you will be fine. If you do, expect a visit from the Victoria water police!!

Anyone heard how fishing has been up Bermi and Merimbula? Was thinking of heading up there on Sunday or Monday with the boat.

Have the kingies, marlin or other game fish moved in yet?

Cheers,
David

Oh, and if you are doing any walks, including Erskine....LOOK OUT FOR SNAKES!! Had some friends who walked from Erskine down into Lorne the whole way, and came across four snakes in summer, so keep a sharp eye out!!

Re: Need a new phone, so many choices. Suggestions?

Well, I'm really going to put the cat among the pigeons!! If you want a REALLY good phone, get a Sony Xperia XZ Premium!! Honestly, they are AMAZING!! 19MB camera, 4k screen and 4k photos/video, amazing photo clarity, and you can record up to 960fps at 720p, which is awesome. Some of the stuff I've ...
