Here Here, well said True dogs, way too much money spent on spin and not enough on doing real work on improving fisheries across the state.

Very tight fishing but in the past has been productive with some nice pan sized reddies and the occasional yellow belly, especially on very light gear with soft plastics

Thought I would try the Loddon and Serpentine creeks this evening for Cod, no catches but did have one roof on a night crawler at this spot, not so much as a sniff in the bigger water of the Loddon

Top effort might have to try some surface lure work for COD

1/8 oz jig head soft plastic taztiger lime green with a small silver blade attached. Just lob beside structure and a slow halting retrieve.

Went to Goulburn today fished the bridge on the Heathcote Nagambie Road had a couple of hits and landed a nice 45cm cod, lot of fun on a really light bream style rod with 6lb braide.

May have to head over. Certainly better than Redfin fishing in central Victoria at present

Yep very happy with my first bay outing definitely worth the 3hr drive each way. Will be back again for sure
