I'm new to fishing but while fishing for trout I managed to hook up on a carp and it was the best fun my daughter and I had all day.She loves catching food for the table but they don't fight like carp do ,especially on light gear.

They should try lakes that are stocked for school holidays.Getting kids to love sustainable fishing is a great idea,but some adults don't care about bag limits let alone licences which pay for stocking
