It is probably the best site to get info and plan ahead for us fishos. Together with fishranger I also use Meteye for wind & wave conditions. Second and maybe third opinion doesn't hurt. When Fishranger was in trouble and about to be shut down earlier this year or last year (can't remember exactly) ...

A month or 2 ago I've caught a similar species at Portarlington, land based, on whiting rig. It was around 50-60cm. First I thought it was some sort of sea snake but with little investigation on the net with much clear picture and video I've found out it was "Shorthead Worm Eel"! Apparently its comm...
