Never wear branded stuff. I think if someone wants me to walk around advertising their product they should pay me to do so. $70 for a thin top. Tell em they're dreaming. I shop at the op shops get something like that without the brands for $5 keep my $65 for fuel and bait. Just a grisly old pension...

Earlier this year l was on the gold coast with my son for a futsal tournament and had a chance to fish in the canals up there but didn't have a rod so l bought a telescopic rod from Kmart for $15 which had a reel and line on it and actually caught some nice bream so that would get my vote for your s...

l am not sure which is best as my pb bream was caught on a $36 reel with $13 mono line and a rod which l got from a magazine subscription. Although in the past l would always look at the reel first until l brought a Shimano Bream raider rod which feels fantastic,still yet to catch anything decent on...

l agree with windknot about locations on the Great Ocean Road,l don't know anything about fly fishing but on a recent episode of the afn fishing show they were fishing all the little creeks along the Great Ocean Road using flies and lures and catching trout,sometimes only 50m from the beach so l wou...

its now getting in to silly season how many rods per person do you think landbased at a pier myself i think two is plenty for example brighton pier two people are allowed eight rods and space them out at aprox 10ft apart where they put there wood chocks in thats a fair bit of pier taken im all good...

That's a nice fish mate,do you think they taste better because of the salt content in the lake because l caught a similar size one in Lake Wendouree last summer and to be honest it was only average eating.
