Re: Stay safe - fishermen swept off NSW's Port Kembla rocks

That Hill 60 area of Port Kembla has claimed way too many fishos. Lots of people fishing rocks with no idea of reading the conditions and not being able to swim, even enough to stay afloat for a while. And on top of that, doing it at night :( :o_0:

Rye land based

Hi team, I am heading to Rye next week with the kids for a few days. Kids have only fished once before and they loved it, they are excited about having another crack. I was planning on taking them down to a local pier and catch whatever swims, they wont be after trophy fish. Just consistent bites to...

When are you planning to go with them?
I've booked a kingfish session with them on 30th, hopefully I can finally get one to tick the bucket list. I'll let you know how I go with them for kingfish.
Good luck Sebb, hope you nail one

Re: Carpmageddon

You really brained them mate, well done.

How do you use them as fertiliser? Simply burry them in the garden? What happens if/when they get dug up? Stink or not?

Re: Supermarket burley

I agree Sebb, when trying to raise live baits I used breadcrumbs, tuna oil and some mashed/chopped up pillies. That stuff attracted all sorts of fish

Re: Opening the 20/21 LBG account

Great write up Dougie. I lived in Culburra for a while. Amazing part of the world with so many fishing choices right at your door. That kingie would have been hectic fun on the light set up. I have had similar outings, live baits, lures, etc all out and the bloke beside me fishing for snapper has ho...
