Nobody had them on sale so had to pay the retail $189 ( it's the only reel I own that's over $50 )but should be worth it. 10 kg of drag should stop a few fish.

Re: hypodermic needle found at brighton pier

Mate I know this all to well, last couple of times when I've fished off Oliver's hill I have found one each time  very disappointing... I think about it every time I go out with my kids. Definitely need to keep an eye out for them these days.

Re: PPB scallop locations?

Well not much to show for it but I discovered I can freedive down to 6 meters without much hassle and search around a bit. Had to wait for the tide to slacken though. These ones were off the Rye channel in 5-6 meters near the little house thing on stilts. The bug was a bonus. Thanks for the pointer...

Re: PPB scallop locations?

Gday mate, the boats are crazy this time of year that's for sure. If you are willing to drive down to mornington pier and to the left hand side when looking out at the bay. Well let's just say keep this one under your hat

Re: Rate my first fishing app (Free)

Mate this is a great little app :a_goodjob: , all newbies should have a look at it. Showed my daughter and now she keeps quizzing me on sizes and limits
Great work mate
