Clear Water Murray Cod Areas
Hey fishos, Merry Christmas to all! I'm a big trout fisho and recently getting into Murray Cod and loving it. I'm very keen on the idea of clearwater cod, have watched a few videos and it just looks like an awesome experience! Wondering if anyone can share some rivers and/or areas that this can be d...

Does anyone have info on the free remote or bush camping situation around there? Can you pull up and camp by the river in many spots or is it only camping within designa...

On the garfish hunt
Hey guys,
I’m looking to find some garfish. I live in st kilda so my 5km is basically port Melbourne to Brighton.
Was wondering if anyone knows if they’re around port Melbourne at the moment? Have never caught gars and had a few donut sessions before lockdown so very keen to try and find them!

On the hunt for some Gars!
Hey all,
I’m trying to get myself into garfish fishing. Never targeted them before but I’m very keen to give it a crack and get onto some.
Just wondering if anyone knows an area that’s been producing solidly from Geelong to Point Lonsdale/anywhere on the bellarine!
Thanks heaps

Re: Lost something massive this afternoon
Sounds like a mulloway for sure. I’ve hooked a few in the yarra that are unstoppable. I’ve never encountered a ray up the yarra and I fish it a lot for jew, although I have in docklands so depends where you are I guess. But there are certainly mulloway to 30kg and even bigger roaming the yarra, espe...

Anyone finding mulloway recently?
Hey fishos
Wondering if anyone has been finding any jewies in the Yarra or nong lately? I was doing good before lockdown and straight after lockdown. But since the big rains a few weeks ago I haven’t had a touch... doing my head in!! Haha
Cheers

Re: 500 cast later n
Nice mate. Yep heaps more than 7 in the last few months. I’ve heard of atleast 15 in the last few weeks. Must be a nice school living in there. 90% are coming from plastics 30 min either side of the tide change (more so the high), but no reason you wouldn’t get one on bait. I tried a few days down t...
