Re: Pre-Season Snapper Preperation

Ha ha yes the “stereotypes”. I’ve seen them I wonder which one I fit into from the outsiders point of view. I’ll go out anytime the weather is half decent and I have the time. Right now I’m saving for the annual outboard service. Can’t wait for the warranty period to be out and I’ll be saving money ...

Re: Boat covers

It’s over 7-8 meters boat/motor/trailer in a tight spot beside the house, and I can’t build anything attached to the fence. There’s only enough room to squeeze by on one side, depending on how I park the boat. For now, I’m stuck storing the boat outside, after I win tatts it won’t be an issue ha ha ...

Re: Boat covers

Thanks everyone for the replies that’s what I’m after. Some opinions I guess. I wouldn’t use a cover during transport. I’m only interested in keeping the boat out of the weather when stored. I don’t have a shed or area big enough to keep it in ( out of the weather) I park the boat beside the house. ...

Boat covers

Hi all, I'm after some advice about boat covers. Up until now I've had a cheapie that cost about $250 ish from memory. It lasted a year before it started tearing at the rubbing points on the top of the T top. So I sacrificed the storage bag and over the months patched it up a dozen times. Now it's 2...

Re: Insight Genesis for PPB

Yep that's right purple re users adding to the database of maps, I'm guessing now it may be more useful for freshwater fishos in dams and lakes etc where normal navionics cards don't cover. I guess most boat fishos in the bay might have the Nav cards as well so there's no benefit in using the insigh...

Re: Insight Genesis for PPB

Just got home and had a look on the insight genesis website. There's not much saved inside PPB. Just out the heads is a bit better coverage but from what I can see it's on par with my normal Navico map on the sd card.
So far I'm not sold on it, I'm only interested on salt water fishing.
