Re: Lowrance Fuel flow Meter

Double Yep agree about it’s not going to save you big money, but the benefits I see are you get to see and hear and feel the slight differences between when the trim is off a bit and how that affects the boat handling and the fuel burn, for example. As well you get to know what’s normal in regards t...

Re: Lowrance Fuel flow Meter

No worries, glad to contribute. Yeah hindsight is great  It is handy having the instantaneous fuel usage readout for the economy side of things. Like in the image I posted I was using 55 odd litres per klm @ 65 klm per hour. Then you can trim up and see if your usage goes down, and adjust from...

Re: Lowrance Fuel flow Meter

If you like I can post a higher res image. I just noticed it’s too pixelated to see the description above each figure.
But the 135 is the fuel remaining.

Re: Lowrance Fuel flow Meter

Yep it’s all plug and play for sure. You still need to setup what size engine and average fuel burn, size of tank, etc to get the most out of the setup. It’s all a calculated output depending on the inputs ie fuel flow and average fuel burn and calculated distance travelled and calculated fuel remai...

Re: Lowrance Fuel flow Meter

I’ve got the setup you’re describing, it provides all the fuel data you are after in your OP. I’ve mainly got that setup because I can only see the top inlet section of the 150 litre tank. I’ve got the nmea setup on my Simrad, I’m pretty sure the Lowrance and Simrad use the same interface system but...
