Re: Carpet replacement

Re: Free Boat Ramps

Great news all round. I guess this means busier boat ramps too ? Remember that horrid image of boats on trailers backed up in the early hours on Station Street Altona a few years back. That’s crazy. Anyway for me no fees means a fair bit. Generally the ramp fee cost is only $15-20 but I don’t live a...

Re: 32,000 FISH STOCKED IN TIME FOR SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Great initiative, I hope all the mums, dads, uncles aunties, grandparents and carers have the best time with their kids. And catch some fishes.

Re: Plolarised Lens Colour

I've tried Mako's (blue tinge) and Spotters (brown lens). They are all ok but years ago I had a pair of "snow" sunnies that were polarised and had a yellow lens. They were the best, it was like life was coloured with a Fluor highlighter pen. Next time I shop for fishing sunnies I'll try for a yellow...

Re: Drama this mornin

That’s great. Ha ha I’ve had the same shenanigans tangles and nets and lines and burley buckets many times. Last time I lost my first ever Kingfish because I never tightened the handle properly on my new fancy net. So when I was - rod in one hand with a 80cm kingy thrashing around right at the boat ...

Re: Today at the ramp.

Good on you RB, it’s always nice to know there are good people around. I was at bunnings Sunday and a fella with his little daughter in the trolley there saw my wife and I talking about our purchase and offered his Ute to help us get it home. We didn’t need his help but we thanked him and we were bo...
