Re: Pinkies in the warmies and unknown jumping fish??

I tried many lures over the years for them (before soft plastics which you will get many on, they love them) and the most successful I found was the storm thunderstick in mullet pattern. But as I said I caught most on the bottom with bait

Re: What Shimano sephia colours to get?

Ive fished fairly extensively for squid for a very long time and caught many, many squid over the years using many brands and usually my number 1 go to jig is the natural brown/red,especially used on the sleeper rod. It really brightens up in the water and the squid love them

Re: Out riggers.finally installed

The mounts are designed with the teeth so that you can make small adjustments to the heights depending on sea and swell and whether or not you want your lures to run deeper or skip on the surface. It will be trial and error for you but don't touch or modify the mounts.

Re: Out riggers.finally installed

All you need to do is rotate the riggers a couple of teeth to give you height, the poles would be angled back and up slightly which is how they should run. Don't modify the bracket

Re: Great Ocean Road Fishing. HELP

Youve got a much better chance of getting whiting and pinkies off artillery rocks than cumberland beach, paternoster with squid for bait will get you all fish off this ledge. Good Luck
