i have never understood the myth about wire trace's. if a fish can detect a wire trace why cant they detect the hook.

Thanks for the info Cory. I was going to head up to the pondage this weekend, looks like i'll be trying elswhere. I was fishing the pondage years ago using maggots and a berley cage. a local was using the same method only 10 or 15 mtrs away. he caught 4 trout from 30 to 40 cm while i couldnt get a b...
