Cheers - reckon I might service my caldia in that case. I had a feeling magseal was just a seal but wasn't sure given its an oil colloid. Reckon I can live without it. @Barramick - ill be honest that I'm not 100% on baitcasters yet though i have done a couple, i am located in chadstone area @sloth - magseal does not serve as lubrication at all, I think they will do more damage than protecting reel parts if it does leak to internal system hence the reason why i re...

For certate i have added 2 extra bearing but still use original washer, as for rarenium it has two spool one has carbontex and one in picture has felt washer

Oil in reservoir should be sufficient for several services considering it has not been tempered with or sunbaked.

Magseal oil is filled in the reservoir then attracted to collar when attached creates an a oil pool to prevent water. No i do not refill the magseal, i have search everywhere it isnt possible to source the magseal from daiwa although couple years ago they did sell it for a very short time. However y...

I charge $30 per spinning reel, i will only do daiwa and shimano for now as i have no resource to obtain parts for other brands if need to be replaced.
