Re: Portland kgw advice
Hi wishtofish
Breakwall around 250m up - fish in between the weeds in the sandy areas.
I've caught up to 38cm in this area only 2 months ago on a visit

Re: Bermagui report.
Nice report.
We were up there at a similar time. We got lucky had a pre-booked charter for the island.
Got told day after day no Kingys around. We went Thu 7th March, they turned up. Got about 40 kingys between 3 of us, most rats. 9 keepers and 3 keepers dropped / taken by seals

Portland - Lee Breakwall 13/11/16
Pretty excited to say last weekend we went to Portland to mostly fish off the Lee Breakwall and I snagged this beast..
We did not have scales but it came in at 72cm (approx 5.5-6kg)
We did see an 8kg specimen caught the day before too..

Portland: Alternative if weather bad?
Hi everyone. Heading up and staying at Portland in November for a long weekend. We are looking at fishing land-based from the break-wall but if the winds/swell is not conducive to fishing can anyone suggest other alternative option for a fish? We'll happily drive an hour, perhaps inland or somewhere...
