Re: Coronet Bay fishing landbase help!

Yeah got to wade out a long to cast into deeper water at low tide. Pilchard fillets worked best. Lots of toadies around but didn't have them go after the pippi or squid.
Last time I caught a flathead and a large mullet

Westerly winds

It seems this weekend has gone to hell before it got here as I was planning on a camping trip down at Kilcunda, campsite is a mud bog and the westerly wind is NOT recommended for there due to the weeds.. So fellow fishermen & fisherladies, is there any advice for me on where in the Sth East of Melbo...

Help required.

Previous post I said I was looking at going to Kilcunda next weekend, prob being now is I'm looking at Willy Weather and the wind forecasted for Saturday morning is of around 50km/h sw and swinging NWN
Is it worth going or should I postpone it?!?!

Kilcunda

Heading to Killy in just over a week for the weekend but am curious to know if the reports of that the only time you catch is at high tide, I was under the impression 2 hrs either side of the tides

Re: Camping & Fishing

Thanks guys.. Just think we might head to Kilcunda and stay at the Powlett River Caravan Park, so if we want and had enough of the surf can tackle the powlett

Camping & Fishing

Hey everyone, haven't posted in a while as I've been flat out with work, TAFE & family, so it's time to get out for a fish.. Looking to go camping for a weekend where I can pitch a tent and relax nearby a beach.. Does anyone know of anywhere cheap/free?? I was hoping to go to Kilcunda/powlett River ...

Re: mulloway fishing and bait

Chicken apparently works on mulloway too, IF that's what it was on the Patterson River that I hooked into and got busted up by
